The Business Ombudsman, together with the Namangan region hokimiyat, ensured the protection of the rights of over seven thousand entrepreneurs by ending the practice of double charging at markets.
Checks revealed that on Dehkan markets in the region, traders were simultaneously required to pay for both entry and conducting trade activities. This approach contradicted current legislation and placed an excessive financial burden on businessmen.
Following the adoption of joint measures, the fee for entry and trade was adjusted in accordance with the law, and the illegal double collection of funds has ceased. These changes affected 38 Dehkan markets in the Namangan region. This measure helped reduce entrepreneurs' costs for selling and storing goods, including agricultural products, and also helped stabilize pricing.
