The 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 Bluetooth is being offered on Amazon for R$ 1,971, allowing installment payments of up to 12 interest-free times. This new Samsung smartwatch features an unprecedented Snapdragon chip and various smart functionalities, currently on sale with a 34% reduction from its original price of R$ 2,999.
One of the highlights of the Galaxy Watch 9 is the inclusion of the Snapdragon Wear Elite SW6100, marking the first time a Samsung smartwatch incorporates a Qualcomm processor. Equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, the device can run applications directly on the watch.
Its battery, with a capacity of 390 mAh, guarantees one day of use and supports 10W wireless charging. Advanced sensors allow monitoring of various physical activities and quality of life aspects, including electrocardiogram (ECG), sleep tracking, female health, and blood oxygen saturation.
The main innovation presented is the 'raise to talk' feature, which activates the Google Gemini artificial intelligence chatbot without needing to press buttons. Furthermore, this wearable has the capability to assist the user in medical emergencies by contacting specific numbers, such as 190 (police) and 192 (ambulance), if connected to a mobile phone.
The Watch 9's Super AMOLED screen measures 1.34 inches and reaches a brightness of up to 3,000 nits, providing excellent color reproduction and visibility in any environment. Sapphire glass was used to protect the display against scratches and impacts. The watch body, made of 40mm Armor aluminum, features IP68 and military MIL-STD810H certifications, and supports up to 5 atmospheres of pressure (5 ATM+), allowing for use in water sports.
The strap has been redesigned, becoming 25% lighter and more flexible compared to the previous version, which increases comfort during use. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 9 Bluetooth operates with Wear OS 7 and is compatible with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and multiband GPS, which tracks the user's precise location in real time.
