Pharmaceutical company MSD announced on Monday the appointment of Vidhya Sundaram to the position of Vice President of Global Technology Centers and Head of the Technology Center in Hyderabad.
Vidhya, who is based in Hyderabad, will oversee the strategy of the global MSD Technology Center. She will closely collaborate with global technology leaders to deepen interaction between various locations and achieve business results, according to the company's statement.
Furthermore, she will lead the Technology Center in Hyderabad, contributing to the development of digital capabilities that support MSD's work in providing innovative solutions for human and animal health worldwide.
MSD, which operates under the name Merck & Co., Inc. in the US and Canadian markets, recently opened an expanded workspace for the Technology Center in Hyderabad.
The company noted that Vidhya has over twenty years of experience in building and scaling global competency organizations, as well as achieving business results through digital technologies and life sciences industry technologies. Before joining MSD, she held leadership positions at Eli Lilly, ZS Associates, and EY.
