Archaeologists from Bulgaria have made a discovery, finding probable signs of early brewing in the prehistoric settlement of Provadia-Solnitsahta. Researchers found remains of sprouted wheat inside one of the ruined dwellings.
According to scientists' estimates, the inhabitants of this proto-city intended to brew beer approximately 6500 years ago using the found material. This information was published on the official website of the team conducting the archaeological project at this site.
