With the continuous growth of coffee culture in Saudi Arabia, cafes have assumed the role of an important 'third place' for many Saudi citizens. Café Ashjar, whose name means 'trees' in Arabic, was designed to be a modest sanctuary within the urban area of Riyadh, characterized by the integration of gardens, water elements, and shaded areas.
