In the city of Priyaganj, Uttar Pradesh state, a massive snake caused panic among villagers, forcing people to hide children and domestic animals indoors. The snake, reaching about 12 feet in length, emerged from the fields and headed directly toward the settlement. When residents saw it, field workers began running away. News of the approaching snake quickly spread through the village, causing widespread alarm.
This incident occurred in the village of Imlahiya, which belongs to the Tharwai block in Gangapar. According to local residents, the snake was very large, reaching approximately 12 feet in length and possessing significant weight. Seeing the snake moving towards the settlement, residents first brought their children inside and also moved livestock, including goats, to safe places.
At that moment, the snake's attention was drawn to a blue antelope calf weighing about 20 kilograms. It seized the animal. Residents watched this horrifying scene from a distance. After holding the prey for some time, the snake slowly swallowed the blue antelope calf in about 6 minutes. During this event, no one dared to approach the snake.
Residents managed to record the entire scene on a mobile phone. The video shows the giant snake and people standing nearby. After the incident, a tense atmosphere persisted in the village for several hours, as people feared the snake might approach a house or animal again.
The surprising part was that after about 42 minutes, the snake regurgitated the blue antelope calf. Even after this, residents remained far from the site of the incident for a long time. It is reported that an atmosphere of fear prevailed in the village for approximately six hours. Soon, residents reported the incident to the police and the forest department. Upon arrival, the forest department team cautiously caught the snake. The team safely placed it in a bag and removed it from the scene. After the snake was captured, the residents felt relieved.
