According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan, 212,265 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Turkey for tourism between January and August 2026.
Compared to the same period last year, the number of such trips increased by 30,500 people, which represents a growth of 16.8%.
The majority of Uzbek citizens visited Turkey for leisure, with 176,137 people traveling for this purpose. Additionally, 31,158 citizens of Uzbekistan went to Turkey to visit relatives.
Also in the country were 2,446 Uzbek citizens who came for medical treatment. Business trips were made by 1,233 people, and 1,291 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Turkey for education.
