The IT Park of Uzbekistan and the High-Tech Park of Belarus held a meeting to exchange experiences in creating technological ecosystems, supporting startups, and attracting venture capital. This meeting took place on September 22 as part of the ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026 event in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The delegation from the High-Tech Park of Belarus was headed by Anna Ryabova, who holds the position of Head of the Supervisory Board Secretariat of the HTP. Marina Filipuyuk, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Digital Development of the HTP, and Dmitry Mikulko, Head of the HTP Startup Center, also participated in the negotiations.
The IT Park of Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation led by Lazizbek Khudaev, Director for Resident Relations. Participants discussed various models for managing IT parks, infrastructure development issues, and ways to create favorable conditions for the growth of technology companies and startups.
Representatives of both organizations shared their experience in interacting with residents, startups, accelerators, investors, and innovation support institutions. Special attention was paid to educational and acceleration programs, pitch events, and supporting companies entering foreign markets.
Furthermore, the parties discussed methods for establishing direct connections between technology companies, investors, and the expert community. A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to venture capital; participants reviewed existing approaches to forming investment mechanisms and funds, their operating principles, participant structure, and practices for supporting technological projects.
Participants also exchanged experiences in attracting international capital, investments, and joint investments, including participation in investment rounds and supporting companies at the growth stage or when entering international markets. The meeting served as a platform for professional exchange between the technological ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Belarus, allowing the parties to discuss practical approaches to startup development, investment activities, and technological entrepreneurship.
