In the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, seven administrative buildings previously owned by ministries and agencies have been sold. The total value of these sold properties amounted to 868.8 billion soums.
Among the successfully sold buildings are properties belonging to the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, as well as the State Unitary Enterprise 'Tourist Service Center' under the Committee on Tourism, the Committee on Automotive Roads, the Committee on Silk Production and Wool Industry Development, and the Agency for Public Services.
Additionally, another 11 objects have been put up for auction with a starting price of 1095.8 billion soums, and 20 objects are undergoing pre-sale preparation. Currently, auctions are ongoing for buildings belonging to the State Assets Management Agency, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the Agency for Technical Regulation, and the Ministry of Water Resources and related structures.
The real estate implementation process is carried out in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Decree No. 146 of March 7, 2025. This document establishes plans for relocating 150 state bodies and state-participating organizations to the territory of New Tashkent, and also provides for the sale or lease of 83 real estate objects in the capital through open tenders.
To date, the realization has reached more than half of the planned volume: seven buildings have already been transferred to new owners, and another 31 objects are at various stages of preparation and sale.
