Burj Khalifa, the symbol of Dubai and the world's tallest building, attracts visitors from all over the world. However, people live in this 828-meter skyscraper for whom the tower is part of daily life. These residents possess significant wealth, allowing them to purchase or rent apartments worth millions of dirhams. The main question is what unique amenities are provided to residents that distinguish them from ordinary apartments.
Life in this building differs from an ordinary apartment due to benefits such as 24-hour concierge service, the presence of a swimming pool, gym, lounge areas, and direct access to Dubai Mall, creating the impression of a luxury hotel.
The concierge service is a personal service where building staff assists residents in many aspects of their daily activities.
Apartment prices in Burj Khalifa vary depending on size, floor, and view. According to registered transaction data from the Dubai Real Estate Department, in September 2026, a one-bedroom apartment of about 936 square feet was sold for 3.4 million dirhams, equivalent to approximately 80 million rupees. In the same month, another one-bedroom apartment of 1103 square feet was sold for 2.85 million dirhams, or about 64 million rupees. Furthermore, a two-bedroom apartment of 1639 square feet was sold for 4.6 million dirhams, which amounts to approximately 100 million rupees. Thus, purchasing housing here requires not only the high status of the building but also a large budget.
Larger and more luxurious apartments can cost significantly more. In August 2026, a four-bedroom apartment of about 10,042 square feet was sold for 2.44 billion dirhams, estimated at approximately 540 million rupees.
The profile of Burj Khalifa residents is not limited to Dubai or the UAE; wealthy businessmen, professionals, and investors from various countries live here, buying or renting housing. According to current real estate data, among tenants in Burj Khalifa and The Residence, nationalities from the UK, India, France, and Lebanon predominate. The share of tenants from the UK is 15 percent, from India is 8 percent, from France is 7 percent, and from Lebanon is 6 percent.
The connection of Indians with Burj Khalifa is quite long-standing. A 2012 report, citing an official building representative, indicated that Indians had acquired between 100 and 150 apartments out of approximately 900 in Burj Khalifa at that time. In subsequent years, there were also reports of Indian businessmen purchasing property.
The residential section of Burj Khalifa offers a 24-hour concierge service. According to the building, it features a residential lobby, club lounge, business center, gym, swimming pool, and children's studios. One long-time resident told Khaleej Times that the concierge helped him move his car from the parking lot to the reception desk. This same resident noted that the building also housed ATMs, a gym, and a supermarket.
Burj Khalifa features sky lobbies on the 43rd and 76th floors. Official information confirms that these locations contain swimming pools, jacuzzis, fitness facilities, and relaxation rooms. This means that residents do not have to visit other buildings daily for sports and recreation.
One of the most outstanding advantages of Burj Khalifa is its location. The Residence is designed with direct access to Dubai Mall. This allows residents to integrate visits to one of the world's famous shopping centers for shopping, leisure, and entertainment into their daily lives.
Thus, it is not just a house, but an entire luxurious life. Externally, Burj Khalifa looks like a tourist attraction, but for those who live inside, the picture is completely different. Here, in addition to buying an expensive apartment, amenities such as concierge, gym, swimming pool, lounge areas, business opportunities, and direct access to Dubai Mall are available. Perhaps this is why the experience of living in the world's tallest building is not just a 'house in the sky,' but 'the whole luxurious life within one building.'
