Shakhriyor Makhkamov from Uzbekistan won and secured a gold medal at the Asian Games held in Aichi-Nagoya in 2026.
The Uzbek athlete competed in kayaking and became the winner in the K1 discipline over 500 meters. This gold award added to the collection of the Uzbekistan national team at the Asian Games.
Thanks to this success, the Uzbekistan national team now has 33 medals in its arsenal, including eight gold, sixteen silver, and nine bronze.
