This enterprise is engaged in the production of modern thermal insulation materials, using local basalt raw materials for this purpose. This project is designed to promote the effective use of the region's natural resources and stimulate the development of the construction materials industry. The implementation of this initiative was carried out in accordance with the decree of the head of state concerning additional measures for comprehensive socio-economic development and ensuring employment for the residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan from February 9, 2024.
The total budget of the project reached 50 million dollars. Advanced European equipment has been installed at the plant, which ensures that the produced products comply with international standards. The enterprise's production capacity allows it to produce 50 thousand tons of thermal insulation materials annually, valued at 300 billion soums, while creating 150 new jobs.
The products made from basalt possess high thermal insulation characteristics, durability, and fire resistance. The use of these materials in construction contributes to increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and structures, as well as reducing costs for heating and air conditioning systems.
The head of state personally inspected the production facilities and held discussions with the factory employees. During the visit, representatives of the regional governors overseeing the districts of Karakalpakstan presented reports on the work completed. The President emphasized the importance of increasing support for the regions, strengthening industrial cooperation, joint utilization of available resources, and increasing the number of projects aimed at increasing income and employment for the population.
According to the enforcement document of the Nukus District Economic Court, which is under the jurisdiction of the Enforcement Department of the Karakalpakstan Republic, the debtor 'N.B.' Limited Liability Company is obliged to pay 523 million soums in favor of the joint-stock and trading bank 'Uzbekistan Industry - Construction Bank' (SQB).
