The international exhibition 'Education of Russia. Tashkent — 2026' has begun in Tashkent, where over forty higher education institutions from Russia are presenting their programs to the youth of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition allows school students and applicants in the capital to receive direct answers from university representatives regarding where they can enroll after school—in Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg, or other Russian cities.
This sixth exhibition in the capital has gathered representatives from more than forty Russian universities, including seven universities participating for the first time.
Irina Staroselskaya, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representation in Uzbekistan, expressed satisfaction with the participation of representatives from new Russian universities in this exhibition. According to her, there is a growing interest among applicants not only in traditional fields but also in creative specialties such as directing, acting, ballet, and cinema.
Staroselskaya noted that this includes institutions such as VGIK and GITIS, which cover the field of artists, directors, ballet, and the film industry.
The event is organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representation in Uzbekistan. The event is held with the support of the Russian Embassy, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation.
