The family feud between the Focker and Byrnce clans reignites with the release of 'Focker-In-Law,' a continuation of the popular 'Meet the Parents' franchise. Universal Pictures is preparing to screen this new chapter.
The film is scheduled for release in North American theaters on November 25th, followed immediately by its screening in Egypt on November 26th.
More than ten years after the release of 'Little Fockers' in 2010, this PG-13 rated comedy brings Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro back in their iconic roles: the perpetually anxious Greg Focker and his stern father-in-law, Jack Byrnce, a former CIA operative.
In this latest installment, the comedic focus shifts to Greg and Pam's son, Henry Focker (played by Skyler Gisondo), who is now grown up. The family dynamic faces a new wave of chaos when Henry decides to tie his life to Olivia Jones, played by franchise newcomer Ariana Grande.
Olivia, who previously worked as an FBI hostage negotiator, brings her own complex family issues into the family. As the wedding approaches, the clash of the two families generates a new wave of hidden suspicions, awkward misunderstandings, and the familiar Focker chaos, placing Greg in the unfamiliar position of mediator between the older and newer generations.
Alongside Stiller and De Niro, the film features franchise veterans such as Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, and Terry Polo, as well as new actors: Benny Feldman and Eduardo Franco.
Director John Hamburg, who co-wrote the original three 'Meet the Parents' films, returns to guide the franchise as a writer and director. Hamburg developed the script based on a story created jointly with Ilana Glazer and Austen Earl. The production team brought together industry stars: Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Jon Lester, Jay Roach, and John Hamburg serve as producers.
