A gradual decrease in air temperature is expected in Uzbekistan. During the upcoming weekend, predominantly dry weather will persist in most regions of the country, although short-term rains and thunderstorms may occur in some mountainous areas and parts of the Fergana Valley.
Today and on Saturday, September 26, short-term precipitation is forecast in several foothill and mountainous regions of Uzbekistan, as well as in parts of the Fergana Valley. In Tashkent region, light rain is possible in the afternoon today.
The daytime temperature regime today will be from 26 to 30 degrees, and up to 31–33 degrees in the south. However, a drop in temperature is expected on Saturday and Sunday: during the day, the air will warm up only to 22–25 degrees, and up to 27–30 degrees in the south. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate within the range of 9–14 degrees.
The wind will blow at a speed of 7–12 meters per second. Between September 26 and 27, an increase in wind speed up to 13–18 meters per second and the appearance of dust storms are possible in the northern and desert zones.
In Tashkent, light, sometimes variable cloudiness is forecast for today, with a possibility of short-term rain in the afternoon. No precipitation is expected in the capital on Saturday and Sunday. At night, the temperature in Tashkent will reach 11–14 degrees, and during the day—26–28 degrees; over the weekend, further cooling to 23–25 degrees is expected in the capital with an easterly wind at a speed of 3–8 meters per second.
