Tamaki Tsukada of the Japanese Embassy in Tehran and Hossein Selahvarzi, President of the Joint Iranian-Japanese Chamber of Commerce, held a meeting on September 22.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the long-standing economic relations between the two countries and demonstrated their determination and readiness to maintain and strengthen these ties even during difficult periods.
Emphasizing the economy as the foundation of bilateral relations, the participants also exchanged views on the importance of cultural interaction and communication between the peoples of the two nations.
According to the meeting report, officials reviewed both past cooperation experience and future opportunities. This meeting reflected a common commitment to dialogue and joint work.
Although no new agreements were announced, the discussions demonstrated a continuous interest in preserving the relationships that have existed for decades. Both representatives stressed that cultural participation can complement commercial ties and promote long-term friendship between Iran and Japan.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of regional instability, but both sides highly value these relations and intend to continue the dialogue.
