Dubai customs services have extended the period during which customs duties remain suspended on goods imported for subsequent export, temporarily imported, or in transit. Thus, the total period has been increased to 180 days.
This decision applies to duty deferral statuses that expire after February 27, 2026, and up to October 31, 2026.
According to a statement from Dubai Customs, the purpose of this decision is to reduce the financial and administrative burden on clients, maintain the uninterrupted operation of supply chains, and ensure smooth trade amidst current operational difficulties.
