Uzbekistan's representative in athletics, Sharifa Davronova, won a victory by securing her second gold medal at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
Competing in the triple jump, Davronova achieved a result of 14.35 meters, which allowed her to take first place and become the champion of the Asian Games.
Thanks to this victory, Sharifa Davronova became a two-time Asian Games champion. Following her success, Uzbekistan's total medal count at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026 reached 26: six gold, 12 silver, and eight bronze.
