Weather forecast for Florianópolis from September 24 to 30 indicates increased instability and rain

The weather forecast for Thursday, the 24th, and Friday, the 25th, points to the progression of rains across the North, Central-West, and inland Northeast regions, covering Matopiba, an agricultural area composed of the states of Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí, and Bahia. Simultaneously, in the South and parts of the Southeast, the influence of cold diminishes, resulting in a rapid increase in temperatures.

On Thursday, the south-central region will still be cold, with the possibility of frost occurring in Rio Grande do Sul. However, by Friday, the cold air mass moves away, allowing heat to regain predominance, especially in the Southern region.

Climatic situation by region

In the North Region, the states of Roraima, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, and Tocantins are expected to register rain accompanied by thunderstorms in various locations on Thursday. For Friday, instabilities tend to intensify in certain parts of the region, notably in Roraima, Amazonas, southern Pará, and Tocantins. A yellow alert for potential danger is issued for heavy rains in the center, west, and northwest of Amazonas, as well as in southwestern Roraima.

In the Northeast, precipitation will begin in the southwest and west of Bahia, in the southwest of Piauí, and in the south of Maranhão. On Friday, these rain showers will spread throughout the state's interior. Matopiba will also receive rain after having recorded very low relative humidity levels.

Temperature forecast in capitals

Regarding the Central-West, the arrival of rain with thunderstorms is expected from the afternoon of Thursday in northern and eastern Mato Grosso, Goiás, and the Federal District, where there is also a yellow warning for potential danger of storms. On Friday, instabilities will become more localized in northern and eastern Mato Grosso, northern Goiás, and the Federal District. In Cuiabá, the maximum temperature may reach 40°C, while Campo Grande is expected to record a minimum of 18°C.

Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Rio de Janeiro will concentrate some of the predicted rainy areas for the Southeast. São Paulo will have more stable weather on Thursday, with a minimum of 13°C and a maximum of 19°C. For Friday, the São Paulo capital is expected to have a minimum of 15°C and may reach up to 27°C.

During Thursday, the cold air mass will keep the climate stable in the South. In the west, center, and south of Rio Grande do Sul, there is a possibility of frost during the early morning and early morning. The minimum temperature forecast for the three capitals of the region will be 10°C. On Friday, the frost forecast is suspended and temperatures rise: Curitiba will reach 25°C, while Florianópolis and Porto Alegre will reach 26°C.

In the south of Rio Grande do Sul, isolated rain may still occur, but in the rest of the region, the sun should predominate for most of the day.

In Santos, rain is expected to persist on Thursday, the 24th, but the intensity of the instability will decrease starting Friday, the 25th, when the sun will begin to appear between the clouds.

Saturday, the 26th, is expected to be the driest day of the weekend. Sunday, the 27th, presents a higher probability of rainfall, with precipitation forecast during the morning and showers throughout the afternoon and night.

At the beginning of this period, temperatures remain lower, but they tend to increase progressively until the end of the week. For the weekend, the expectation is for more stable weather on Saturday and a higher chance of rain on Sunday.
