According to data from several studies, disruptions in the functioning and development of the cardiovascular system were observed during the use of mobile devices, and shortened pregnancy durations were also recorded.
Oxidative stress and DNA damage, which are provoked by radiofrequency radiation, may be the presumed cause of these phenomena.
Nevertheless, the authors of this review strongly recommend approaching the obtained results with particular caution, as many of the analyzed articles carry a high risk of bias.
The results of the systematic review were published in the scientific journal Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology.
