The film 'Hanuman Ansh', created with a budget of 20 million rupees, unexpectedly became a commercial success, collecting over 350 million rupees. The film's producer, Anupriya Nagar, spoke about the difficulties the project faced and how she almost decided to leave the industry.
Initially, there were few screenings for the film 'Hanuman Ansh', and it was called a failure. However, Anupriya did not give up and decided to personally handle the film's promotion, visiting various cities and meeting people. Among these meetings was one with spiritual teachers, specifically Dhirendra Shastri from Baba Bageshwar Dham.
According to Anupriya, when all her avenues were closed and the film 'Hanuman Ansh' was on the verge of leaving theaters, Baba Bageshwar Dham blessed her. Just two days later, the film's popularity sharply increased.
In an interview with Siddharth Kanang, Anupriya shared that her heart broke when the film was not being shown in cinemas. What upset her was not so much the financial situation as the fact that people were not watching her film. She wondered why the followers of Maharaj were not paying attention to this picture. Despite the difficulties, she could not sit at home and watch the market situation deteriorate.
She decided to take charge of the film's promotion, traveling to Delhi where she met with prominent political figures and Maharaj's followers. Additionally, she conducted several podcasts.
However, on the eighth day of release, the team reported that the number of screenings dropped from 300 to only 30 due to the release of two other films. She was also informed that the film might be removed from theaters as early as the next day. The team felt that everything was lost and focused on securing a good deal with OTT platforms. Anupriya was also depressed and began planning a return to Zurich, deciding it was time to pack her bags and leave the industry.
Anupriya recounted that she was told only a miracle could save the film. She went out to seek this miracle, feeling intense anxiety. To calm down, she decided to turn to a saint and ask for his blessing by visiting Baba Bageshwar Dham and meeting Dhirendra Shastri. The Baba asked her how many screens her film was showing on, even though Anupriya had not told him anything. He told her: 'You have done a good job... and everything will be fine with you. Do not worry.'
After this, a miracle occurred: within the next two days, the film's popularity grew by 22 percent. Anupriya considers this a miracle of Nim Karoli Baba and expressed her gratitude to Baba Bageshwar Dham.
