The Iranian team finished first in the international regatta course in Nagaragava, posting a time of 6 minutes 53.93 seconds.
The Hong Kong team, consisting of Yuen Shan Cheng and Wing Fun Ling, also took part on the podium, securing second place with a time of 6 minutes 59.24 seconds.
The bronze medal was won by Japanese athletes Chika Yonezawa and Chikai Tomita, finishing the race with a time of 6 minutes 59.27 seconds.
