A new Sole & Co Foot Lounge has opened in Glenndale, Johannesburg, Gauteng, offering specialized foot care treatments. This establishment is positioned not as a typical beauty salon, but as a sanctuary for complete relaxation, free from hustle and loud background noise.
Sole & Co was founded by a couple, Jay-Dee and Shane Flynn. Their goal was to bring a fresh and specialized concept to the local community. The couple emphasized that they did not want to open another traditional salon, but rather aimed to create a dedicated space focused exclusively on foot care, where people could relax and enjoy well-deserved time away from daily stress.
Creating this venue required immense effort. Jay-Dee and Shane poured their hearts into every aspect of the business: from designing a warm and inviting interior and carefully selecting decor to creating a menu of treatments and developing their own line of foot care products under the Sole & Co brand.
Thanks to this dedication, Sole & Co officially opened its doors on September 12, 2026. The local response was immediate and very strong: the salon welcomed 57 clients in its first three days of operation. Shane noted that the reaction exceeded all expectations, and he highly appreciated that people were already booking repeat visits and recommending the salon to friends and family.
For the Flynns, Sole & Co is more than just a commercial venture; it is the embodiment of a shared dream created together. It is a local haven built on community, warmth, and a high level of care.
