The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the eco-tourism complex 'Vineyard Garden,' located in the Yangi Khayot district of the Asak district of the Andijan region. According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, this complex covers an area of 192 hectares and combines natural landscape with tourist infrastructure.
The implementation of this project was carried out under the instruction of the head of state and at the initiative of the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex. The complex is situated on a hill, from which panoramic views of the district can be seen.
For visitors, four modern capsule-style houses and five national-style yurts have been equipped. On the 30-hectare territory, decorative and coniferous trees have been planted. Additionally, the facility features a family restaurant and various attractions, and a modern lighting system has been installed for evening hours.
Special attention was paid to environmental preservation and efficient resource use during the development of the complex. A membrane reservoir with a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters was built, and the trees and plants are fully irrigated using a drip irrigation system.
The total cost of the project amounted to 51.8 billion soms. It has provided 275 permanent and 200 seasonal jobs for local residents. The complex also includes plans for exporting grapes grown in the vineyard.
Once fully operational, it is expected that the complex will generate annual revenues of 80 billion soms from services, and local budgets will receive about 3 billion soms annually. The launch of the 'Vineyard Garden' complex is scheduled for the end of 2026, and it is expected to become one of the tourist destinations of the Andijan region.
During his visit, the head of state met with regional representatives and labor veterans over a traditional feast. Events in Andijan, the creation of new opportunities to improve people's well-being, the improvement of mahallas, and efforts to unlock youth potential were discussed. A cultural program and drone show were also organized for the participants.
