Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, will visit Kazakhstan for the first time as a special guest during the AI Month event in Astana. His visit is at the invitation of Zhaslan Madiev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
The AI Month event will bring together artificial intelligence specialists, developers, startups, researchers, and representatives of the technology sector. The series of events is held with the support of Astana Hub.
The AI Month program starts on September 23rd with the HackAlem AI hackathon. Participants in this international AI competition will gain access to NVIDIA's technological resources for developing and testing their own solutions.
On October 1st, there will be a meeting of the AI Development Council featuring NVIDIA Vice President Reva Lebaredian. From October 2nd to 3rd, the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026 is scheduled, along with other events dedicated to digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
AI Month will conclude on October 23rd with a special event at the International Center for Artificial Intelligence alem.ai. On this day, Jensen Huang will hold a discussion with Zhaslan Madiev.
The discussion is expected to cover the global development of artificial intelligence, key trends in technology, the training of the new generation of AI specialists, and the prospects of Central Eurasia on the world technological map.
Kazakhstan's cooperation with the global AI industry extends beyond AI Month. An example is the Higgsfield platform, an AI-based tool for creating videos and images, which is valued at $5.4 billion USD.
Higgsfield is an Astana Hub participant and utilizes NVIDIA's software and computing infrastructure. According to the company, over 6 million videos and images are created daily on the platform. The company also collaborates with Astana Hub to support the regional technology ecosystem.
Erzat Dulat, co-founder and CTO of Higgsfield, noted that Kazakhstan can become a center for AI innovation and talent attraction, emphasizing the importance of partnership with NVIDIA and Astana Hub.
As part of its Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, Kazakhstan is working to create a national AI ecosystem that includes specialist training, support for technological entrepreneurship, and the formation of infrastructure for developing and implementing AI solutions.
