The average monthly salary for bus drivers in Tashkent city is 13.5 million UZS. This information was announced by Komiljon Qodirov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC 'Toshshahartranskhizmat', at a press conference.
The driver's final salary depends on several factors: the type of bus, their work experience, qualifications, working hours, and the level of achievement of set indicators. Company representatives emphasized that those with over 20 years of experience receive a 50% bonus, and those in the first driving category receive a 25% bonus.
Based on calculations, a Mercedes-Benz bus driver earns 17.16 million UZS per month, but the amount received after mandatory deductions is 14.93 million UZS. For a MAN A22 CNG bus driver, these figures are 15.92 million and 13.85 million UZS, respectively. A driver of an Isuzu SAZ LE 60 bus is calculated to earn 13.05 million UZS, which amounts to 11.35 million UZS in hand.
A part of the salary is also related to labor discipline and work quality. Indicators such as fully completing routes, adhering to schedules and traffic rules, stopping at designated stops, and not causing road traffic accidents (RTAs) are taken into account.
Currently, 165 bus routes operate within the 'Toshshahartranskhizmat' system, transporting over 1.5 million passengers daily.
