Reality TV star Gullu, also known as Kushal Tanwar, shared important details about his life, confirming the fact of his marriage. For a long time, there were speculations about his marital status, and photos of him as a groom circulated on the internet.
In a recent episode, Gullu revealed this chapter of his life during a conversation with Kaji Taukir. He stated that he had a wedding, followed by a divorce. This information surprised Kaji.
Gullu explained that his marriage was arranged at the insistence of his parents because early marriages are customary in Haryana. He admitted that he did not feel love for his wife. He specified that his wedding took place in 2024, and he divorced her in the same year. He noted that getting out of this situation was extremely difficult for him, and during that period, he suffered from depression.
He recounted: 'My marriage lasted only 4-5 months. Everyone thought it was wrong, but I kept trying. Then I realized it wasn't working.' He added that it was not love, but a marriage entered into for the sake of family. After winning Rodige, his wedding photos were leaked, which greatly upset him and created pressure.
'I felt like nothing could be worse. I thought life would show me the way to move forward. Since then, I have focused only on my work,' he shared. Gullu also mentioned that the divorce process began before Rodige, when he was in the Rodige group in Goa. The leak of his wedding photos made him feel that his game was over, and he didn't know what to do.
According to Gullu, the divorce was not easy for him because his family opposed the separation. His family cut ties with him at that time. Settling the divorce took about a year, and during that period, he went through difficult times. However, he has now managed to move past these bitter memories.
