The first sale of the Apple iPhone Duo foldable gadget took place today, as announced by the company on its official portal. During the first wave of sales, buyers will have access to banking offers, interest-free installment plans (No Cost EMI), and numerous special promotions.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo began on October 16. Users can reduce the purchase price by trading in their old mobile phone, with the estimated value depending on the model and condition of the device.
The iPhone Duo is available in four storage options. The base model has a 256GB capacity and costs 2,99,900 rupees. The 512GB model will cost 3,24,900 rupees. The 1TB variant is priced at 3,74,900 rupees, and the top version with a 2TB storage capacity is priced at 4,49,900 rupees.
The iPhone Duo features two displays. One is a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR display. After unfolding the body, the internal display is a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR screen, which is equipped with a Nano Texture Matte Finish to reduce glare and the visibility of creases.
The iPhone Duo uses the A20 Pro chipset, which provides access to Apple Intelligence capabilities. The gadget is available in two color options: Star White and Night Sky.
The rear camera system of the iPhone Duo consists of a dual module, including a 48-megapixel camera. There is also an ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is located on both the external and internal display panels.
The Apple iPhone Duo competes with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. However, there is a significant price difference between the two models, with the Samsung device being approximately one and a half lakh rupees cheaper. More devices challenging the iPhone Duo will appear on the market soon.
