Motorola made a preliminary presentation of the Motorola Signature 27, which represents the second generation of its premium device line. This device will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, supplied by Qualcomm, in addition to featuring a 200-megapixel periscope lens and an audio system developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. Currently, the price in Brazil and the exact commercialization date remain confidential.
Scheduled for release later this year, the device was revealed last Tuesday, the 22nd, during the Snapdragon Summit event. The manufacturer opted not to disclose the complete technical specifications of the device.
The Signature 27 is among the first smartphones to be announced with Qualcomm's latest flagship chip. According to Motorola, this System on Chip (SoC) will enable advanced Artificial Intelligence functionalities, significant improvements in camera quality, and a smoother gaming experience. To manage internal temperature, the phone will incorporate a new cooling system using liquid metal.
The company also assured the public that the model will receive seven operating system updates and security updates for up to seven years. This model follows the tradition of the Signature family, introduced at the beginning of 2026. The number '27' signals a new naming methodology adopted by the manufacturer, based on the last two digits of the year following the line's launches.
Motorola displayed part of the photographic arrangement of the Signature 27. The main camera will use the 50 MP Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, while the periscope telephoto lens will offer 200 MP resolution. The device will also include an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system and AI features designed to optimize color tones through scene analysis, both before and during image capture. More information about the entire camera setup will be made available in the future.
Another innovation lies in the audio sector: the Signature 27 will be the first Motorola smartphone to feature a sound system created in partnership with Bang & Olufsen, a Danish brand recognized for its high-quality products. The manufacturer did not detail the specifications of this sound solution.
Additionally, the smartphone will have integration with Google Gemini. The demonstrated features include tools capable of converting commands, photos, or videos into audiovisual content and generating music and soundtracks.
In terms of design, the Signature 27 will be built with an aluminum frame and will be available in two shades: Pantone Coal Smoke (black) and Capulet Olive (green), both finished with texture.
