The producer and screenwriter of 'Article 370', Aditya Dhar, arrived at the ceremony with his wife, actress Yami Gautam, who received the Best Actress award specifically for this film.
Discussing the situation with DD, Yami Gautam shared her feelings, saying that she is very pleased. She considers this award the highest recognition for any artist and believes it is the greatest award one can receive from their country. She added that she is still trying to process her emotions.
During the event, a question arose regarding 'Dhurandhar' from Aditya Dhar, Yami Gautam's husband, and the director of the film 'Dhurandhar'. He replied with a smile, stating: 'We are here for Article 370. We hope that if we come here next year, we will definitely talk about 'Dhurandhar'. '
Aditya Dhar's words clearly indicate that the director hopes that the film 'Dhurandhar' or the actors associated with it will receive the national award, although the answer will only be known next year.
It is worth noting that the film 'Dhurandhar' by Ranveer Singh and its sequel 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' were among the films considered by the jury for India's submission to the Academy Awards in 2027. However, despite being one of the biggest Indian releases of the year, neither of these films made it into the final selection.
The film 'Dhurandhar', directed by Aditya Dhar, features Ranveer Singh, Akshaya Khanna, Sanjay Datta, Arjun Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Saru Arjun in its cast. The first part was released in theaters in December 2025, and the second part was shown in March 2026.
