A surveillance video has become a topic of discussion on social media after it was revealed that a man urinated in the elevator of one of the high-rise residential complexes in the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. Due to this, several residents of the complex contacted the Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) and the maintenance department with complaints. After receiving these complaints, staff began checking the elevator surveillance recordings, which allowed them to discover the man's actions. This incident was then documented in a video, which was subsequently published by one of the residents on social media and went viral. Following the spread of the video, the complex's residents expressed their outrage.
Residents of the high-rise residential complex emphasized that they spend significant money on purchasing apartments and expect to live in a more orderly and comfortable environment. Such behavior in a public elevator creates inconvenience for other residents. Since the elevator is used by all inhabitants of the complex, one person's action causes discomfort for everyone else. Residents believe that spreading dirt and odor in a confined space like an elevator can cause problems for the elderly, children, and other citizens, which is the source of their strong dissatisfaction after the video surfaced.
Representatives of the RWA stated that a conversation would be held with the man who urinated in the elevator. He will be issued a warning against such actions in the future. The RWA insists that all residents use the complex's common amenities, and maintaining cleanliness and decency is a shared responsibility. According to RWA representatives, this individual will be explained that such a situation must not happen again.
